Paul L. Nunez (2010) Brain, Mind, and the Structure of Reality. Oxford University Press. New York.
This is an extraordinarily intelligent (but somewhat irritating) book, dealing with issues of consciousness and quantum physics. Nunez is one of an increasing number of people trying to find sensible ways of dragging biology, neurology, brain, mind, and consciousness into the thoroughly modern world of quantum physics. Only part of it is presented here.
1.Many Faces of Consciousness. 2.Ethics, Religion, and the Identity of Self. 3.States of Mind. Nun1a, Nun1b, Nun1c, Nun1d.
9.Modern Physics, Cosmology and Consciousness. 10.The Weird Behaviour of Quantum Systems. 11.Ontological Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics. 12.Does the Brain Create the Mind? Nun2a, Nun2b, Nun3a, Nun3b.
