Treatment Case Studies 2 UNDER CONSTRUCTION
A number of patient treatment snap-shots and case studies will be posted to this web page over time.
Most, if not all, will derive from the clinical experience and circumstances of patients at ACU Centre.
These can be expected to reflect in some way the integrated approach to therapy undertaken at ACU Centre: TCM, 'western' medical biosciences (WMB), and/or hatha yoga. In all cases a patient's informed consent has been gained (and/or that of immediate family), and anonymity robustly protected, before specific case material is posted to this web site. It is possible that some patients may contribute directly to their own case study (eg. by writing 'the patient's experience'). In some longer-term cases it is expected that therapeutic progression will be able to be monitored over time.
For example, changes in emphasis or direction in diagnosis and treatment should be apparent as these evolve to keep step with the progress and changing circumstances of the patient. All downloadable documents are in Acrobat 5 PDF format.
